Globalization makes London no difference from any other world metropolitans. Of course, there are still the Big Ben, the Hyde Park and many other landmarks which are unique to London and England.
The car rental area in the London Hawthorn Airport are dominated by the US big names, the National, Hertz and Avis. The roadside eateries service are dominated by Burger King, KFC, Starbucks (that is right, two Starbucks). Where are the fish and chips, I wondered?
As we drove north to Scotland, we stopped by Oxford. Here, going up and down the learned corridors and halls of fame, my mind, somehow was wondering in Cambridge and North Western.
